He married Mary Ann COLLIE in Turriff, Turriff parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, about 1918. (Mary Ann COLLIE is #1498.) Mary was born Camalynes, Fyvie parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland about 1894.

John CHALMERS and Mary Ann COLLIE had the following children:

248 i. Mary Collie⁸ CHALMERS (#1499) was born Dykeside, Auchterless parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 21 June 1920. Mary died 11 June 2001 in Rotherdam, Holland, at 80 years of age. She married Joannes Wilhelmus KAMEN. ( KAMEN is #1601.) (See KAMEN for the continuation of this line.)

249 ii. John Collie CHALMERS (#1500) was born Camalynes, Fyvie parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 5 June 1923. John died 16 February 1984 in London, Middlesex, England, at 60 years of age.

250 iii. William Largue CHALMERS (#1502) was born 31 December 1924 died Children's Hospital Aberdeen, Scotland 31 March 1925.
