1. Alexander¹ GARVOCH (#1146) was born about 1739.

He married Ann TENNANT about 1760. (Ann TENNANT is #1147.)

Alexander GARVOCH and Ann TENNANT had the following children:

2 i. Ann² GARVOCH (#1493) was born Auchlinn, KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland before 13 February 1764. She was baptized Auchlinn, KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, 13 February 1764. Religion: Church of Scotland.

3 ii. William GARVOCH (#1494) was born Auchlinn, KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland before 26 January 1767. He was baptized Auchlinn, KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, 26 [ ] 1767. Religion: Church of Scotland.

4 iii. Isobel GARVOCH (#1010) was born KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland about 1768. She married John ESSLEMONT KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, 11 August 1793.⁽²⁶²⁾ (John ESSLEMONT is #1009.) John was born KingEdward parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland about 1768. John⁽²⁶³⁾ was the son of Alexander ESSLEMONT. (See John ESSLEMONT for the continuation of this line.) I have found no Baptism record for Isobel. There are two possibilities; 1. She could be a daughter of Alexander Garvoch and Christian Kennedy who had a daughter Elizabeth on the 9th. November 1767 at Millton of Literty, KingEdward, or 2. daughter of Alexander Garvoch and Ann Tennant who had two children, Ann on the 12 February1764, and William on the 26 ,month not clear,1767. It is also known that the names Isobel and Elizabeth are interchangeable in the North East. I have chosen Alexander and Ann Tennant, provisionally, because Isobel's first daughter is named Ann possibly called after her grand mother. Hopefully more evidence will be found with ongoing research.
