2 i. James² AVINS (#532) was born Cairnhill, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland about 1744. James died 4 November 1777 Cairnhill, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland, at 33 years of age.⁽⁹⁾ His body was interred after 4 November 1777 Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland.

3 ii. Jean AVINS (#412) was born Cairnhill, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland about 1747. She married John CHALMERS Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland, 5 October 1775.⁽¹⁰⁾ (John CHALMERS is #43.) John was born Coldhome, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland before 21 January 1747. John was the son of James CHALMERS and Christian CHEYNE. (See John CHALMERS for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. Alexander AVINS (#531) was born Cairnhill, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland about 1757. Alexander died 1 May 1777 Cairnhill, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland, at 19 years of age.⁽¹¹⁾
