She married Alexander CHALMERS Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland, 14 June 1788.⁽⁹²⁾ "14June1788 Alexander Chalmers and Janet Barclay both in this parish were contracted in order to marriage, consigned pledges at Alvah and married." (Alexander CHALMERS is #33.)

Alexander was born Coldhome, Alvah parish, Banffshire, Scotland before 17 April 1751. Alexander⁽⁹³⁾ was the son of James CHALMERS and Christian CHEYNE. Alexander died after 1795. (See Alexander CHALMERS for the continuation of this line.)
