He married Johanna SPILLANE Cork, Cork county, Ireland, about 1838. (Johanna SPILLANE is #159.) Johanna was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland 1813 - 1820.

James's occupation: hairdresser Windrop St Cork, St Finbarr's South parish, Cork county, Ireland, about 1840. I have not been able to find the birth of James yet. According to family tradition, he was a protestant by birth and converted to catholism late in life. I do not known to which protestant faith he was attached. My mother, Catherine Mullaney, ID8, also told me that he was employed as a hairdresser at Fergusons, close to the old Lee cinema in Wintdrop st.

3 ii. Margaret O'NEILL (#161) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland before 3 June 1841. She was baptized St Finbarr's South parish, Cork county, Ireland, 3 June 1841. Religion: Roman Catholic.

4 iii. James O'NEILL (#162) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland before 24 March 1844. James died 13 February 1891 45 Warren's Place, St Peter and Paul parish, Cork county, Ireland, at 46 years of age.⁽³⁴⁵⁾ His body was interred 15 February 1891 Botanic road, Ballyphehane parish, Cork county, Ireland, St Joseph's.⁽³⁴⁶⁾ He was 44 years old when he died, according to burial record He married Margaret BUCKLEY Cork, Cork county, Ireland, about 1864. (Margaret BUCKLEY is #163.)

Margaret was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1844. Margaret died 22 October 1926 Cork, Cork county, Ireland, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred 25 October 1926 Botanic road, Ballyphehane parish, Cork county, Ireland, St Joseph's.⁽³⁴⁷⁾

He was baptized St Finbarr's South parish, Cork county, Ireland, 24 March 1844. Religion: Roman Catholic.

5 iv. Tom O'NEILL (#164) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1845.

6 v. Francis O'NEILL (#165) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1846.

7 vi. Emily O'NEILL (#166) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1847.

8 vii. Ellen O'NEILL (#167) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1848.

9 viii. Mary O'NEILL (#135) was born Cork, Cork county, Ireland about 1860. Mary died 14 September 1929 Wood St Cork, St Peter and Paul parish, Cork county, Ireland, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred after 14 September 1929 Botanic road, Ballyphehane parish, Cork county, Ireland.⁽³⁴⁸⁾ She married John MULLANNY St Finbarr's South parish, Cork county, Ireland, 22 June 1879.⁽³⁴⁹⁾ (John MULLANNY is #134.) John was born Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland before 15 June 1857. John was the son of Joseph MULLANNY and Bridget BECKLER. She resided Wood St Cork, St Peter and Paul parish, Cork county, Ireland about 1901.⁽³⁵¹⁾
