He married Bridget BECKLER Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland, 29 October 1839.(288) (Bridget BECKLER is #147.) Bridget was born about 1819. Bridget was the daughter of Conrad ? BECKLER. Bridget died 6 November 1891 29 Commons Road, Cathedral parish, Cork county, Ireland, at 72 years of age.

child 16 iv. Bridget MULLANNY (#153) was born Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland before 23 July 1848. She married MEADE about 1868. ( MEADE is #154.) He was born about 1848.

child 17 v. Mary MULLANNY(289) (#152) was born Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland before 16 August 1846. Mary died 1920 Cork, Cork county, Ireland, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred after 1920 Middleton, Middleton parish, Cork county, Ireland, Protestant. She married James O'CALLAGHAN in Boston, USA, about 1869. (James O'CALLAGHAN is #491.) James was born Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland about 1848. (See James O'CALLAGHAN for the continuation of this line.)

She was baptized Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland, 16 August 1846. Religion: Roman Catholic. Oral Tradition3 (Told to me by Mrs Bridie McClean, ID889) on 24-1-1990 "Mary Mullanny,who was a lady, a sister of Cornelius, went to Boston where she met James O'Callaghan who was also from Cloyne and married him there. The eldest two were born there, Maymi(Mary) and Kate. Other children were born in Cork were: Elizabeth, Francis, Agnes, James, Joseph, William. Kate was a lady and married an army officer Bowes and had a daughter Edith, who in turn married a widowed army man Bert Ogden. Edith was very musical and played the cello. She was a musical director in the Opera House. She died aged 84 and is buried St Finbarrs Cork. She lived at Knocklawn St Lukes. Maymi married a Mr Barry. Elizabeth married an army man lived in India for some time. Agnes married Jim Murphy assistant manager Liptons Patrick St., who also had his own shop in Cobh. She lived at St Francis Ave. College rd. Mary Mullanny's husband Jimmy Callaghan was a mason (builder). Mary moved from 4 Maryville which was called after her by her brother Cornelius who built the row of houses called Maryville and went to Ardpatrick Ballyhooly road which was given to her by Cornelius also, as long as she lived. The house was the first of three, going in. One is now gone (1999). She died aged about 84 and is buried in the protestant graveyard Middleton. Her husband is also there, as also are her sons Joseph and William. Mary's other brother Joseph died about 65 years ago. She had a sister who lived in the Commons rd. Mary had a brother John also but I do not remember him too well. My father is named James and he was a son of Mary and James O 'Callaghan I was brought up at 4 Maryville. I am called Birdie (Bridget) and I married Mcclean." Note: I met this lady in the course of my work with the Housing Office Cork. She was living alone aged 76 and was the tenant of 25 Suttons Buildings She gave me this information on the 24-1-1990. She is a 2nd. cousin!

child 19 vii. William MULLANNY (#156) was born Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland before February 1855. William died about 1907 Cork, Cork county, Ireland. He was baptized Cloyne, Cloyne parish, Cork county, Ireland, 28 February 1855. Religion: Roman Catholic.
